POWER BUILDING RESOURCES

In line with our mission to build the collective power of Indigenous peoples  we not only rematriate and deploy wealth back into our communities, we also offer power building resources.  These resources are designed to add to and enhance the tools our people have as they exercise sovereignty and pursue their self-determined work to defend, develop, and decolonize their communities and Nations. Power-building recognizes the inherent right and struggles of Indigenous Peoples to manage their lands, assets and resources, and fortifies the leadership and decision-making processes that uplift Indigenous power.  Unlike capacity building, it does not seek to mirror colonial systems and institutions, but press forward with Indigenized eco-systems and organizations that can uplift our People and their prosperity.

Grantee-partners will receive access to tailored webinars, shared learning networks, and other opportunities as they become available. Our Power Building resources cover aspects of Indigenous regenerative development, leadership and governance, decolonial future-building, healing money trauma and the rematriation of wealth.
