Tracey Zephier

GENERAL COUNSEL

Tracey, a citizen of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, serves as General Counsel at NDN Collective. Prior to joining NDN Collective she was Attorney General for the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. She has also practiced as a private attorney, focusing on tribal/state relations, environmental and jurisdictional issues, financial and real estate transactions, education, and community development matters for tribal nations. As chief legal advisor for the Cheyenne River Sioux tribe, Tracey was active in litigation opposing the Keystone XL and the Dakota Access Pipelines across Lakota lands. She holds a Juris Doctorate from Yale Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration and accounting.
