Jordynn Paz

Jordynn Paz (She/Her), is Apsaalooke (Crow) from Garryowen, Montana. Trained as a journalist, Jordynn has covered Indigenous issues in Montana from MMIW to blood quantum and identity. Several of her feature stories addressed the impacts of losing mothers to the MMIWG2S crises as well as the complexities of Indigenous people missing on their traditional homelands. She received her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Native American Studies from the University of Montana in 2021. Jordynn is a board member of Four Points Media in Crow Agency, MT. She is a 2022-23 Apsaalooke Energy Justice Leadership Fellow with Plenty Doors Community Development Corporation and a 2023-24 Hugo Fellow for literary fiction with Hugo House in Seattle, WA.
