Eva Cardenas

DIRECTOR OF ORGANIZING

Eva Cardenas (she/her), is a Mexica Xicana of Mazahua and Zapotec descent. As a displaced relative residing in Creek and Muskogee territories, Eva comes by way of the Immigrant Rights Movement as a community member, organizer, and advocate since 2005. In 2011, Eva became an action trainer and practitioner with the Ruckus Society and in 2016, joined the staff as a Program and Network Manager. She is a part-time visual artist and a full-time desmadrosa. Eva is a social language interpreter (SPA<>ENG), seasoned facilitator and trainer. Eva believes in the Power of our People and seeks to support our collective liberation by any means necessary.
