Davis Price
DIRECTOR OF CLIMATE JUSTICE INITIATIVE
Davis Price (he/him), is an ʻōiwi Hawaiʻi (Native Hawaiian) from Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. Davis has spent nearly 15 years as an advocate for ʻāina (land) and Native Hawaiian rights, always grounding this work in grassroots community engagement and organizing. In recent years, he has concentrated his efforts towards community-based, regenerative economic development serving as a Business Development Strategist for multiple Native Hawaiian led entities. He is a co-Author of the ʻĀina Aloha Economic Futures Initiative and former First Nations Futures Fellow with Kamehameha Schools and Stanford University.
Davis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hawaiian Studies from Hawaiinuiākea School of Hawaiian Knowledge at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, and a Juris Doctorate from William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaiʻi. He is a licensed attorney in the State of Hawaiʻi.
