TACTICAL MEDIA
TACTICAL MEDIA
NDN Collectiveā€™s Tactical Media Team is focused on creating effective content by uplifting frontline conversations in real time, trusting that those who show up hold the narrative and solutions. Tactical Media practitioners consistently develop their skills in and have knowledge of direct action ideation and strategies as well as the legal and social ramifications of being featured in media content. We center consent in storytelling and media production in spaces we are invited or are building solidarity. By developing and executing an overall coverage plan unique to the event or action by having cameras in places that can be dangerous or have high risk, we are able to provide security for the space and individuals from bad actors (or oppositional forces that inflict harm or are working against the liberation of Indigenous Peoples).
ELEMENTS OF TACTICAL MEDIA

- Amplifying the actions and voices of the frontline

BLOGS and PUBLICATIONS
We utilize research tools such as the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to produce blogs, zines, and other written works for our communities that illuminate the inner workings of organizations and agencies who seek to monitor and control movements through state repression and violence.
