Deputy Director of Communications Abigail Pino Pueblo of Laguna

Abigail Pino (she/her), Deputy Director of Communications, is an enrolled member of the Pueblo of Laguna. Abigail has performed various roles in the newsroom including freelance positions and, in her graduate work, serving as the editor for the Eastern New Mexico University campus newspaper. After graduation, she returned to higher education as an adjunct instructor and taught digital photography along with other introductory courses until 2021.

Abigail is an alumna of Cottey College, obtaining both an Associate of Science degree (2014) and a Bachelor of Arts in English degree (2016) before earning her Master of Arts in Communication at Eastern New Mexico University in 2018.

Abigail continues to maintain a deep connection to her Pueblo community.
