SUMMARY:Indigenous Peoples Day 2026
DESCRIPTION:Join us on October 12 from 2-9 p.m. MT for the 2026 Indigenous Peoples’ Day gathering and concert at MniLuzahan Otunwahe in downtown Rapid City\, SD. The event will block off Main Street Square and feature Indigenous and local food vendors\, shops\, and interactive booths for the whole family to enjoy.  \nWe will begin the day with a rally and conclude the evening with a FREE concert. We are excited to gather and celebrate the brilliance and beauty of Indigenous Peoples\, from the He Sapa to Palestine. In a time when we are constantly defending our lands and peoples\, we hope this day of celebration grounds us in our legacy of resistance and all that we are fighting to protect! \n➕2026 Concert Lineup ➕\n  \nMusical Performances by:\nWelby June \nSantee Witt \nTiana Spotted Thunder \nIsaac Tonasket \nMIRACLE \nNevad Brave \nThe Bearhead Sisters \nWith a Special Performance by:\nMacklemore \n\nDJ:\nDJ AIM! \nSpoken Word Performances by:\nRobert Bordeaux \nRally Speakers:\nNick Tilsen \nFounder & CEO of NDN Collective \nDuane Two Bulls \nOrganizer with Black Hills Clean Water Alliance \nEva Cardenas \nDirector of Organizing for the LANDBACK Action Network at NDN Collective \nMacklemore \nComrade & Grammy Award-winning Rapper \nEmcees:\nCante Heart & Dean LaPointe \n  \nIf you can’t make it in person\, stay tuned for our NDN LIVE 🎥\, which will be available across all our platforms and on LANDBACK.org. \n  \nLodging: If you’re planning to stay locally\, please avoid booking at The Grand Gateway Hotel or hotels owned by The Retsel Corporation.
