The NDN COVID-19 Response Project

Covid-19 del Colectivo NDN Response Project

The NDN Collective’s COVID-19 Response Project is designed to provide immediate relief to some of the most underserved communities in the country. NDN’s intent is to quickly distribute resources to frontline organizations, Tribes and individuals to provide gap services during this health crisis, and to artists and entrepreneurs who have suffered the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Phase I Completed

Over $2,300,000 awarded to more than 80 partners in 19 states.

NDN’s COVID-19 Response Project Phase I essential service grant opportunity for Tribes and Frontline Organizations has completed and no new applications are being accepted. In Phase I, our intent was to quickly mobilize and secure resources to respond to the COVID-19 health crisis that is uniquely impacting Indian Country. NDN is honored to quickly deploy over $2.3 million in the last month to outstanding programs and projects providing essential service support across Indian Country.

NDN approved more than $2,300,000 in grants to more than 80 partners in 19 states, including over 16 tribal entities, impacting over 200 Indigenous communities across North America.

As part of our continued work to build Indigenous power, NDN is engaged with many philanthropic partners to ensure Indigenous communities are centered during this pandemic and the health of our communities is a priority. NDN intends to continue offering essential service grants for Tribes and Frontline Organizations in future phases of the COVID-19 Response Project. Please check back soon for additional information.

Remember! Grant applications for Indigenous Artists and Entrepreneurs are still being accepted and NDN has an open Request for Information for Indigenous consultants with a history of successfully working with tribes.

Additional grant opportunities for transition and recovery planning in Indigenous communities will be shared in future phases of the COVID-19 Response Project.

NDN wishes thanks to all of our community, philanthropic partners and peers throughout Indian Country that have played an active role in our response to the coronavirus.
